Lionel Messi has finalized his purchase of CD Eldense, a club in Spain's second division. This acquisition follows his earlier investment in Catalan side Cornella, marking Messi's growing involvement in Spanish football management. CD Eldense currently sits near the bottom of the league standings, having secured only one win in their first seven matches.
The deal awaits regulatory approval and is seen as a step towards a long-term project aimed at enhancing the club's development on various fronts. Messi, who plays for Inter Miami in MLS, continues to shape his legacy beyond his playing career.
Messi's acquisition of CD Eldense could lead to significant changes in the club's management and player development strategies. Fans should monitor upcoming matches for potential shifts in performance as Messi's vision unfolds, especially given the club's current struggles.
