Wales centre Joe Hawkins expressed his determination to participate in the upcoming World Cup in Australia after missing the previous tournament due to eligibility issues. Following his transfer to Scarlets, he has rejoined the national team and is focused on the upcoming Nations Championship matches as preparation for the World Cup.
Hawkins has developed a strong partnership with fellow centre Eddie James, which has been favored by head coach Steve Tandy. With a competitive environment for positions in the squad, Hawkins aims to showcase his skills and secure his place in the team ahead of the global event.
