Inde Navarrette addressed Shane Gillis' recent controversial comments during her SNL hosting gig. Two weeks after Gillis referred to women in athletic wear as 'wh--es,' Navarrette made a light-hearted remark about her gym attire, which was well-received by the audience. Gillis' comments, however, have drawn significant backlash, highlighting ongoing discussions about misogyny in comedy.
The incident has sparked reactions from various figures, including Dan Levy, who criticized Gillis' remarks as misogynistic. While Gillis attempted to apologize for swearing during the live show, the controversy surrounding his comments continues to resonate, reflecting broader societal issues regarding gender and respect in public discourse.
