A man who drugged and raped his wife for over two decades will no longer be part of a trial at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court. He has pleaded guilty to multiple offenses, including 45 additional counts, while twelve other men are set to stand trial for serious sexual offenses against the same victim.
The court is scheduled to reconvene on October 5, where the prosecution is expected to present its case against the remaining defendants, with the trial anticipated to conclude by December 18.
