Hearts and Hibernian are set to face off in a decisive League Cup semi-final at Hampden, with Hearts enjoying a stronger season thus far. Hearts have sold over 23,000 tickets, while Hibernian, struggling at the bottom of the Premiership, will have around 18,000 supporters present despite recent poor performances.
Both teams have a long history of rivalry, with Hearts winning the last three derbies. This match marks a significant moment for both clubs, as they seek to secure a place in the final and potentially end their trophy droughts.
As Hearts aim to leverage their strong season and recent derby successes, Hibernian must overcome their struggles and find a way to compete effectively. Watch for tactical adjustments from Reedijk and how Hibs manage their discipline, as this match could define their season.
