Google has introduced its AI app Dreambeans in India, marking its first international launch after the U.S. The app, which generates personalized visual stories based on users' digital activities, now supports 13 Indian languages, including Hindi and Tamil. This move aims to cater to India's vast internet user base, which shows significant engagement with Google's services.
Since its U.S. debut in June, Dreambeans has seen around 55,000 downloads, with a notable spike in September. However, the app's download rate has since declined. While it offers personalized storytelling, concerns regarding user privacy and data access remain, as the app relies on information from users' Google accounts to function effectively.
