A fourth former officer from South Yorkshire Police has been arrested on suspicion of historical child exploitation and abuse. This follows allegations from ten victims who claim they were sexually abused by former officers in Rotherham, with incidents reportedly occurring between 1995 and 2004.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct has been involved in the investigation, which was initially handled by South Yorkshire Police before being taken over by the National Crime Agency. None of the arrested officers have been charged yet, and the inquiry continues as more victims come forward.
