Florian Wirtz's performance at Liverpool has been inconsistent since his high-profile transfer from Bayer Leverkusen for £116 million. While he showcased his potential in a recent Champions League match, his lackluster display against Manchester City raised concerns about his adaptation to the Premier League's physicality and intensity. Despite his talent, Wirtz has yet to make a significant impact in the league, with only one assist in six appearances this season.
Liverpool's head coach, Andoni Iraola, has expressed confidence in Wirtz's abilities, emphasizing the need for a strong midfield presence to support him. As Wirtz continues to build chemistry with teammates, the upcoming matches will be crucial in determining whether he can fulfill the expectations that come with his hefty price tag and regain his form from Germany.
