Eric Simons is set to join England's cricket team as the new Test bowling coach, marking the first addition to Stephen Fleming's backroom staff. Simons, who has previously served as the head coach for South Africa and worked with the Indian team, has a long-standing partnership with Fleming from their time in the IPL.
The announcement will coincide with England's release of central contracts. This restructuring comes as England divides coaching responsibilities across formats, with Fleming overseeing Tests and Brendon McCullum managing the white-ball teams.
