Spotify mistakenly uploaded the lyrics for Dolly Parton's Welsh version of 'Jolene' in Irish. This version, a collaboration with Welsh singer-songwriter Bronwen Lewis and Parton's niece Jada Star, was released posthumously on October 9, following Parton's death in August. The song features a mix of English and Welsh lyrics.
This incident highlights the importance of accuracy in digital content management, especially for posthumous releases. Fans should keep an eye on Spotify for the corrected lyrics and any further releases honoring Dolly Parton's legacy, as her collaborations continue to resonate.
