A Labrador named Penny was successfully rescued after becoming stranded on a ledge at Pecca Falls in Ingleton. The incident occurred when Penny fell into the river and climbed to a rocky outcrop, prompting a response from the Cave Rescue Organisation and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
Volunteers utilized a rope system to safely retrieve Penny and reunite her with her owners. This marks another successful rescue by the charity, which has a history of assisting pets in similar situations at the popular waterfall.
