Haley Stevens, a congresswoman who recently lost the Michigan Democratic Senate primary, has faced backlash from fellow Democrats after endorsing Republican Mike Rogers just days before the midterm elections. This endorsement has intensified tensions within the party, particularly regarding support for Israel, and has led to resignations among her campaign staff.
Watch for potential fallout within the Michigan Democratic Party as Stevens' endorsement could influence voter sentiment and party unity ahead of the midterms. El-Sayed's campaign may gain momentum from this controversy, while Stevens' future in politics remains uncertain.
