A new campaign has been initiated in Staffordshire to provide gift-filled shoeboxes for children who might otherwise go without presents this Christmas. Residents can collect empty shoeboxes from supermarkets, fill them with suggested items, and return them for distribution through schools and local charities.
The appeal was launched in response to rising hardship levels, with surveys indicating that many families are struggling financially. Local schools will help identify families in need, ensuring that gifts are delivered discreetly and respectfully.
