Michael Carrick, head coach of Manchester United, is navigating a challenging period as his team experiences its worst start since 1986, currently sitting 13th in the league. Following a Champions League defeat and elimination from the Carabao Cup, tensions have risen, particularly after player Lisandro Martínez publicly criticized the club's director of football.

Despite the turmoil, Carrick emphasized a positive atmosphere within the squad ahead of an important match against Leeds. He acknowledged the need for results but maintained that the focus should remain on the club's overall success rather than individual pressures.
