Calum Scanlon has rejoined Cardiff City on a season-long loan from Liverpool for the 2026-27 Championship season. The 21-year-old left-back previously contributed to Cardiff's promotion from League One, making eight appearances after his arrival in February.
Scanlon, who has signed a new contract with Liverpool, aims to gain more senior experience and will compete for a starting position with teammate Joel Bagan. Cardiff begins their league campaign with a match against Wrexham on Monday.
