The Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured a 16-0 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, marking a historic feat as they became the first team since 1974 to win without completing a pass. Baker Mayfield did not connect on any of his three attempts, but the team's rushing attack, led by Bucky Irving and Kenny Gainwell, combined for over 300 yards on the ground. Chase McLaughlin contributed with three field goals, maintaining his perfect season record.
The Buccaneers' reliance on their rushing game raises questions about their passing strategy moving forward. With Mayfield's struggles, fans should monitor his recovery and performance in upcoming games, especially against stronger defenses that may challenge their ground game.
