Baller League UK has announced that it will no longer broadcast its six-a-side football matches on Sky Sports, opting instead to focus on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. CEO Felix Starck emphasized that the audience primarily engages with the league online, with viewing figures increasing significantly over recent seasons.
The league's second season garnered approximately 9.1 million YouTube livestreams, while the third season reached around 12 million, indicating a growing trend in online viewership. Starck noted that the league's target demographic aligns more closely with digital platforms than traditional broadcasters.
