These products, developed in collaboration with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, aim to enhance Apple's presence in the connected home security market.
The smart lock features ultra-wideband technology for precise proximity detection, while the video doorbell allows homeowners to monitor visitors and receive notifications. These devices will be available starting in December, positioning Apple against established competitors like Amazon Ring and Google Nest.
