During a recent podcast episode, Alexa PenaVega shared a story about contestant Hayes, who expressed concerns about the voting process on 'Dancing With the Stars,' suggesting it might be rigged. Alfonso Ribeiro responded on social media, emphasizing that audience votes are indeed counted and that the show aims to keep popular contestants in the competition.
Alexa later clarified that her comments were taken out of context, urging listeners to view the entire discussion. She acknowledged that while audience votes matter, other factors also influence the show's outcomes.
Alfonso Ribeiro's response highlights the ongoing debate about transparency in reality competition shows. As viewers tune in, they should pay attention to how the producers address voting concerns and whether any changes to the format will emerge in future seasons.
