Alex Scott has resigned from her role as the presenter for the Women’s Champions League on Disney+, opting to focus on other projects, including her new show, One More Word WSL. Scott had been with Disney+ since it acquired the rights to the tournament in 2025, but faced criticism over production issues during the recent season opener.
Disney+ expressed gratitude for Scott's contributions and confirmed that the presenting team will continue with other hosts. The Women’s Champions League is set to resume on October 28.
With Alex Scott stepping down, viewers should watch for how Disney+ reshapes its presenting team ahead of the Women’s Champions League resuming on October 28. The focus will likely shift to enhancing production quality and viewer engagement, especially after recent criticisms.
