Aaron Judge will not participate in the Yankees' American League Division Series against the Tampa Bay Rays due to a right calf strain. This marks the second consecutive round he has been left off the roster, while Giancarlo Stanton and Ryan Weathers have been included. The Yankees opted for 11 pitchers and 15 position players, making one change from their previous roster.
Judge has not played since mid-September after suffering a muscle strain, despite efforts to return. The Yankees performed well in the wild-card series without him, but his absence raises questions about the team's depth and potential performance against the AL East champions.
